LMWind visit in North Holland!

 

Join us for a visit to LM Wind to learn about their research, try out a design tool (tentative) and have an opportunity to discuss a potential master thesis project! The visit will be on the 3rd of June 2022 at J. Duikerweg 15-A, 1703 DH Heerhugowaard. We will drive together from Delft and we will meet at 3ME at 07:15 (if you will be arriving on your own please inform us in advance so that we do not arrange transport for you).

• 09:30-10:30 General introduction on LM Wind Power and the LM Engineering activities.
• 10:30-11:00 Research project STRETCH (State of art Rotor Extended To Create Higher performance)
• 11:00-12:30 Focus6 design tool explanation with student exercise on blade design (TBC)
• 12:30-13:00 Lunch
• 13:00-13:30 Discussion on results of exercise
• 13:30-14:00 Research project 2 with potentials for master theses (TBC)
